Hi, my name is Pastor Wayne Atkins!

I have been the Senior Pastor of Pacific Beach Bible Church Since 1994.

A little bit about myself…I grew up in a family where no religion was practiced.  The Holy Spirit began a work in my heart in 1974.  A friend from work shared the message of salvation that is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ.  That in Christ all of our sins past, present, and future can be forgiven.  In April of 1974, on a Wednesday night my wife Lucy and myself knelt down in our living room and received Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Our lives were transformed.  We were given a new life in Christ.  Over the years there have been good times and times that weren’t so good, but through it all our Lord Jesus has always been with us.  He is always faithful.

We have been married since 1967.  We have six children (3 biological and 3 adopted, 2 of which have special needs) and fifteen grandchildren.
